Apple has announced its newest and cheapest wireless earbuds yet and quietly discontinued a pair of wired earphones that it has been selling for quite some time now.

Cupertino tech giant Apple launched the new Beats Flex, a pair of wireless earbuds that aren’t truly wireless like the AirPods. At $50, the new device takes its place as the company’s cheapest offering for those who want a pair of wireless earphones for less than $100.

The new Beats Flex replaces the urBeats3, which was previously sold for $60. The older audio accessory, which was available in Lightning and 3.5mm versions, has been quietly discontinued and is no longer offered in Apple’s stores.

It was the lack of satellite internet connectivity in remote areas that inspired the birth of Samford Satellite Internet Solutions, a newly emerging tech solution company which seeks to uplift under-serviced areas in South Africa by bringing a high speed internet connectivity to their doorstep at a lower cost.

Samford Solutions in collaboration with MorClick, a telecommunications company that offers cutting-edge broadband satellite services, recognised that one of the only ways to bring internet connectivity to areas such as farms was through satellite as it is not commercially viable to lay down fibre in these areas, or invest further in ADSL.

Brian Ford, Executive Director of Samford Solutions said due to data options from Mobile Network Offerings (MNOs) that are expensive and in some cases with stability being an issue, satellite internet connectivity

After a paparazzi image of Billie Eilish made its way to the internet over the weekend, the thing that Eilish anticipated would happen happened—she was criticized for her body. But, of all the things we’re willing to put up with in the year 2020, criticizing an 18 year old for her appearance is simply not one of them, and the internet is shutting down body-shaming trolls left, right, and center.

In a 2019 ELLE Magazine feature, Eilish, who was then just 17, noted that she wears oversized clothing to keep the critics at bay. “I have to wear a big shirt for you not to feel uncomfortable about my boobs,” she said. “I was born with fucking boobs, bro,” and if she wears anything remotely form-fitting, social media instantly reminds her of that, and not in a nice way.

So, when Eilish stepped

A 15-year-old Italian computer whiz who died of leukemia in 2006 moved a step closer to possible sainthood Saturday with his beatification in the town of Assisi, where he is buried.

Carlo Acutis is the youngest contemporary person to be beatified, a path taken by two Portuguese shepherd children living in the early 1900s who were proclaimed Catholic saints in 2017.

At the beatification ceremony in the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, a portrait of Acutis was slowly unveiled, revealing a smiling teen in a red polo shirt, his curly dark hair illuminated by a halo of light. Cardinal Agostino Vallini, the papal legate for the Assisi basilicas, kissed each of the boy’s mask-wearing parents, Andrea Acutis and Antonia Salzano, after reading the proclamation decreed by Pope Francis.

Already touted as the “patron saint of the internet,” Acutis created a website to catalog miracles and took care of websites

Neumann spun an origin myth about growing up on a kibbutz in Israel, where he appreciated the community but bristled at how everyone was rewarded the same regardless of how much work they put in. He envisioned WeWork, he said, as a “capitalist kibbutz”—a “community,” but the kind where “you eat what you kill.”

Wiedeman (with whom I overlapped while working at The New Yorker) presents a more nuanced portrait of the founder as a young man. Neumann was born in 1979 in Beersheba, Israel, to physician parents who shuttled Neumann and his sister around desert towns before moving to the suburbs of Tel Aviv. When he was in the second grade, his grandmother realized that he couldn’t read the menu at a restaurant; he was dyslexic. “He had become skilled at fooling his teachers and coaxing others to do what he needed,” Wiedeman writes. After his parents divorced
