Streaming giant Netflix quietly did away with its 30-day trial in the U.S., according to CNET, just like Disney+, which stopped offering free trials back in June. The U.S. is not the only market where Netflix has decided to end its free trial. The company ended trial periods in Mexico and several other countries as far back as two years ago.

At one point Tuesday morning, the website showed over an hour-long wait for the Villages of Woodland Springs polling location. That’s one of three early voting locations that was affected after a poll worker tested positive for COVID-19.

The Tarrant County Elections Office said in a statement that they found out about the poll worker’s positive test last night. That worker was trained on Oct. 8.

A website has used fabricated recommendations from businesswoman and television personality Deborah Meaden to promote a bitcoin investment.

An article on the website claims that Meaden announced on ITV This Morning that she made £11.5 million using a bitcoin scheme (tinyurl.com/y4qku2rr) .

The piece claims that during the live interview, co-host Holly Willoughby was given £190 to invest in the system. The website features a photograph of her jaw dropping “as she began making a real profit” on live television.

The initial public offer (IPO) of Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) received an overwhelming response, subscribed as much as 46.93 times on the last day of bidding. The offer-for-sale issue received bids for 1.38 crore equity shares against the offer size of 1.28 crore equity shares. The quota for qualified institutional bidders (QIBs) was subscribed 73.18 times, retail quota 5.54 times and the employees’ quota 1.16 times.

The Rs 2,242-crore IPO of the technology-driven financial infrastructure and services provider to mutual funds and other financial institutions opened on September 21 and ended on September 23, at a price band of Rs 1229-Rs 1230.

The allotment date for Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) IPO is scheduled today, while listing of its equity shares on NSE and BSE will be on October 1, 2020.

The Rs 2,242-crore IPO of Computer Age Management Services (CAMS), which was open for subscription between September 21 and September 23, had received a strong response from the investor community. The public offering of the financial infrastructure and service provider was subscribed as much as 46.93 times, with the retail category subscribed 5.44 times, qualified institutional buyers portion attracted subscription of 73.18 times and non-institutional investors category, 111.85 times. Computer Age Management Services will be listed on the exchanges on October 1, 2020.

The IPO is an offer-for-sale of 1.22 crore shares by the promoters, including Great Terrain Investment, NSE Investments, Warburg Pincus and Acsys Investments.

In July, Reuters reported that Facebook agreed to pay $650 million after a lawsuit was filed alleging the company violated the state’s Biometric Information Privacy Act. The law states “[no] private entity may collect, store, or use biometric identifiers or information without providing prior notice to and obtaining a written release or consent from the subject,” according to Bloomberg Law.
