Many questions about how the PlayStation 5 actually works remain unanswered as we quickly approach its November 12 launch date, but Sony has recently detailed the way PS4 backwards compatible games will take advantage of the next-gen console’s hardware via Game Boost.

As its name suggests, Game Boost provides benefits for supported PS4 games, including improved frame rates, higher-resolution visuals, and faster load times. Though Sony has not laid out all of the titles that will support this performance increase, some developers are revealing the games that will take advantage of Game Boost. We’ve rounded up the list of games that use Game Boost, and will continue to update this list as news rolls in.

Health officials said the latest figures – a new daily record – were “artificially high” as a result of the error in its Covid data dashboard and admitted that contact tracing had been delayed.

However they insisted that those affected by the glitch between 25 September and 2 October had all received their results and that lockdown decisions in local areas had not been affected.

Labour criticised the situation as “shambolic” and shadow health secretary called on Matt Hancock to come to the House of Commons to face questions.

NBA 2K21’s next-generation edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X now has a release date. 2K Sports has confirmed that the next-gen edition will begin its rollout on November 10 as a launch title for the Xbox Series X and S consoles.

The professional basketball game will then arrive for the PS5 as a launch title on November 12 in the console’s launch markets, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. The game will then arrive in other markets around the world on November 19 when the console is released in those places.

NBA 2K21’s next-gen version is a new edition of the game “built from the ground up” for those consoles. Because of that, there is no cross-gen multiplayer support. The game costs $10 more on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and Take-Two’s CEO has defended the price increase.

2K has only provided

  • Bethesda is reportedly planning to release “Starfield” in 2021
  • A new image allegedly taken from “Starfield” surfaced online
  • A Microsoft executive seemingly confirmed the gaming platforms that Bethesda games would release into

Following Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax Studios, more details about Bethesda’s “Starfield” surfaced online, including leaked screenshots, gaming platforms and even its release window.

One of the major questions following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda’s mother company ZeniMax is if its upcoming games would be exclusively released on Microsoft Windows and Xbox. Earlier, the Redmond-based tech titan said that they would decide about Bethesda games’ exclusivity on a case to case basis. Interestingly, Xbox Gaming Partnerships and Ecosystem VP Sarah Bond noted something interesting about this in a new blog post.

“One of the things that has me most excited is seeing the roadmap with Bethesda’s future games, coming to Xbox console and PC, including “Starfield,” the highly

It’s official.

NBA 2K21 will be a launch title for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. On Tuesday, 2K tweeted the confirmed dates for release on its next-gen version that coincides with the launch day for the new consoles.

Along with confirming November 10, 12 and 19th as the big days globally, 2K also slid in what is presumably the first real screen shot of the game.

This image of Zion Williamson yelling appears to be on par with the visual quality of some of the celebrity recreations we’ve seen on next-gen hardware.

The release of the date and the screenshot suggests the first trailer should be coming pretty soon. The latest patch that impacted current-gen might be the last major update before the next-gen release.

It tackled most of the first versions most pressing issues, though

Amazon’s  (AMZN) – Get Report stock rose on Monday after the online retailer scheduled its annual Prime Day shopping extravaganza for Oct. 13-14, in time for the holiday season.

Shares of the Seattle company at last check rose 1.75% to $3149.80.

Prime Day, which is typically held in July, was delayed by three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Concern about supply-chain disruptions and managing excess inventory of Amazon devices amid the pandemic also contributed to the delay of the much-hyped event.

Amazon said it would spend an additional $100 million on promotions to help hard-hit small businesses reach more consumers. Small businesses generally have been hammered during the pandemic as shoppers were forced to stay home.

Starting Monday the tech giant will also offer Prime members a $10 credit to use on Prime Day when they spend $10 on items sold by select small businesses in Amazon’s

Two students tested positive for COVID-19 at Sage Canyon School, one student tested positive at Sycamore Ridge School, and another student tested positive at Torrey Hills School.

“We received the results directly from the families, and we were able to respond very quickly,” said Huh. “I’m very happy to say that they are doing very well, and we have not had any other cases.”

Huh said all students and staff who came in contacted with those who tested positive are quarantined for 14 days.
