Pikmin 3 Deluxe launches on Nintendo Switch at the end of this month, but players can sample the unique strategy game before then. During the latest Treehouse Live presentation, Nintendo announced that a free Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo is available to download from the Switch eShop, and you’ll unlock some things in the full game for playing it.

If you can defeat the boss at the end of the demo, you’ll unlock the Ultra-Spicy difficulty in the full version of Pikmin 3 Deluxe right from the outset. Ultra-Spicy is a brand-new difficulty option for Pikmin veterans; it caps your Pikmin field limit at 60, making the experience much more challenging.

This month marks ten months since Juice WRLD tragically passed away after a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport last December. His death shocked the entertainment world and once again stressed the importance of mental health. To coincide with Saturday’s World Mental Health Day, Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, penned an open letter that she shared with Complex, reflecting on her relationship with her son. She also announced the launch of the Live 999 website, with the goal of helping mothers navigate and aid the mental health issues from which their children may be suffering.

The announcement comes shortly after Live Free 999 donated a large number of musical instruments to Deer Creek Christian School, which made it possible for the school to have a fully-equipped orchestra. With the new website, Live Free 99’s goal is, as the website’s mission statement reads, to “support programs that provide preventative measures and positive

Carmella Wallace announced the launch in an open letter Saturday, about 10 months after Juice—birth name Jarad Anthony Higgins—died of an accidental drug overdose. Wallace reflected on her relationship with her son, recalling everything from his unyielding passion for music to his struggles with addiction, anxiety, and depression.

“I recognized that what Jarad was dealing with was a disease and I know he truly wanted to be free from the demons that tormented him,” she wrote in a letter shared with Complex. “As a parent, I believed early on and supported Jarad having access to counseling. I encouraged him to always share his feelings.”

Q: I read your recent article regarding using Microsoft Word without having to pay. I am in the situation where I often do not have internet/Wi-Fi or even phone service (on a private boat). I like Microsoft Word because Wi-Fi is not needed. I keep all of my recipes on Word and access them when I am in remote areas on the boat. Is there any way around having to pay for Word?

— Janet Kvistad

A: If you want the capabilities of Word, including the ability to work without an internet connection, without having to pay for Word, I recommend you take a look at OpenOffice.
