The pandemic has created a new thought process to reconcile when it comes to how we physically operate as a business. I immediately recognized that the fear of unleashing employees faded, if only out of necessity. Facebook updated its rules on Monday to explicitly ban any content that “denies or distorts” the Holocaust, after years of allowing people to deny that the genocide occurred.

The move reverses Facebook’s previous stance, which was articulated by CEO Mark Zuckerberg in years of interviews as not wanting his company to be an arbiter of truth.

“I’m Jewish, and there’s a set of people who deny that the Holocaust happened. I find that deeply offensive. But at the end of the day, I don’t believe that our platform should take that down because I think there are things that different people get wrong,” he told Vox’s Recode in 2018.

Public safety solution enhances collaboration between patrol officers and dispatchers

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced the Long Beach Harbor Patrol Officers and Dispatchers in California have successfully gone live with Tyler’s New World Enterprise CADand New World ShieldForce® solutions, along with New World Enterprise Records, mobile messaging, and mobile field reporting.

The implementation of Tyler’s solutions replaces the agency’s previous tracking system used to manage dispatch activity.

“We recognized the need to implement a true computer-aided dispatch solution to better manage dispatch activity, streamline communication across the agency, and enhance our reporting processes,” said Jeremy Vetterlein, technical security project manager of Long Beach. “Tyler’s solution is already improving critical communication between our patrol officers and dispatch staff. Long Beach Residential Internet Coverage

As one of the largest cities in California, Long Beach has a rapidly growing need for high-speed internet that keeps up with its residents and tourists.

Fiber is available through Frontier FiOS, which services the Wilmington area, downtown Long Beach, and the Naples-Marina area. Other covered areas include East Side, Circle Area, Poly High, and Wrigley. Service is not widely available in the northeastern part of Long Beach.

Customers can choose fiber or DSL from AT&T. AT&T provides coverage to a large area of Long Beach, with the exception of central communities like downtown, Belmont Heights, Belmont Shore, North Long Beach, and Northwest Long Beach.
