For Honor will receive enhancements on next-gen consoles, Ubisoft has announced. The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game will play at higher resolutions at launch, and a framerate boost is due in December, too.

At launch, the Xbox Series X and PS5 will be able to play For Honor at 4K resolution through backwards compatibility. On Xbox Series S, the game will be playable at 1080p. This is not a dedicated next-gen version, as such, but the current-gen version will hit the highest resolutions it can.

Player profiles, purchases, and inventory will also carry across to next-gen, meaning that you will be able to migrate fully over to your new console at launch without fear of leaving anything behind.

In December, an update will also enable 60 FPS gameplay for all next-gen systems, including the Series S. The game has previously had a locked 30 FPS framerate

We’ve finally had our first look at NBA 2K21 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. A first-look trailer has shown off the visual and environmental improvements introduced for the next-gen version, including updated player models and various new court details. The trailer, captured on a PS5, shows of both of these improvements before and during a game.

Prior to this we’d seen just a tiny snippet of the PS5 version; this is much more extensive, offering some gameplay segments in a game between the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors. One of the standout elements, aside from the impressive lifelike look of the individual players, is how crowded the court and crowd appear, particularly during the pregame segment.

In the next-gen version, every single person on screen in the lower court will have their own AI routines, including the audience. In the footage, the movements of everyone in the arena–not

Are you concerned about the next-gen version of Madden 21? If not, you probably should be.

All things considered, it’s been a tough year to be a Madden fan. The franchise mode is still underdeveloped, and changes aren’t coming until November, and those only scrape the surface of fixing what ails the feature.

The game has been buggy since launch, and every patch seems to break something else with the game. It’s not exactly the most ideal environment for a brand to step into the next-generation.

As it is, when or shortly after the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are released, the next level of Madden 21 will arrive. Here’s five reasons you should, be at least a little concerned.

Current-Gen Version Has Been Buggy

If EA has had issues providing a functional version of Madden 21 on current-gen systems–despite just a few

Chinese phone-maker Royole put itself on the map when it beat Samsung and Huawei to the punch in releasing the world’s first foldable phone last year. Never mind that it was a spectacular failure. This week the company launched a next-generation version of that phone, the Flexpai 2, during an online event streamed from the Chinese city of Shenzhen on Tuesday.

Royole’s latest foldable, which opens and shuts like a book, extends into a 7.8-inch screen when its outward-facing flexible screen is unfurled. It also has the newest Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 4,450-mAh battery and a quad-camera module. Its 5G capability has nine different bands covering regions including the US, Europe and China, according to Bill Liu, CEO of Royole.

The Flexpai 2 has a 40% thinner and lighter

HOUSTON — A new data analysis tool developed by researchers at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center incorporates a user-friendly, natural-language interface to allow biomedical researchers without specialized expertise in bioinformatics or programming languages to conduct intuitive analysis of large datasets.

The open-access, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven program, called DrBioRight, was created to lower barriers for all researchers to make full use of the increasingly large amounts of data generated in modern research methods. A report of this platform was published today in Cancer Cell.

“We felt that we could improve the current model for conducting routine bioinformatics analysis and greatly speed up turnaround time by creating a tool
